With these instructions you will definitely succeed! How do I decorate painted surfaces or decorative objects with Decoupage fiber paper:
Preparation:
Clean dry surface (wood, glass, ceramics, even fabric, e.g. armchair or chair back cushion). It is recommended to prime the textile surface. A light background highlights the details of the images.
Even if you use fiber paper on an otherwise dark surface, such as the front edge of a dresser, it is a good idea to prime the area under the image white.

Measure, fit and cut (or tear at the edges) the pattern to fit the object. If you want to fade the edges of the pattern, e.g. on a painted surface, I recommend tearing the edge of the fiber paper unevenly.

1. Apply glue to a clean and dry surface (e.g. Decoupage gel or Erikeeper or similar universal glue diluted with a little water)
2. Carefully place the fiber paper on the surface of the object, for example starting from the edge. I use a loose 'ball' made of plastic wrap for this.
3. Flatten the bulges, lift the paper carefully (wetted fiber paper may stretch)
4. Apply glue or varnish thinly over the image as well
5. Let dry.
6. Surfaces that are subject to heavy wear should be treated with wax, varnish or decoupage glue varnish.
